Youngsters have a G&S with operetta treble
Following productions of Trial by Jury and The Pirates of Penzance, not-for-profit theatre company PB Theatricals will present the G&S favourite HMS Pinafore at Chapel-en-le-Frith Playhouse on Saturday at 7.30pm, and at Buxton’s St Thomas More School on Sunday at 7pm.
The youth production company is run entirely by volunteers, and caters for young performers aged between ten and 30 who learn, rehearse and perform the shows all in the space of a week.

Previous productions by PB Theatricals have been performed to much acclaim.
And at New Mills Art Theatre last weekend their adaptation of The Pirates of Penzance was greeted with a surprise visit by Captain Jack Sparrow, aka entertainer Paul Bann, who posed for photographs with members of the cast and audience after the performance.
Tickets for HMS Pinafore are priced between £6 and £9.
They can be purchased at www.pbtheatricals.co.uk or on the door on the evening of the performances.
