Two more patients have died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, according to the latest NHS England figures published this afternoon.

It means a total of 63 patients who had the virus have now passed away at the hospital.

Latest Government statistics also show there are now 1,261 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across Derbyshire – 871 in Derbyshire county and 390 in Derby city.

The total number of Covid-19 patients who have died in UK hospitals now stands at 16,060.
