Both the Derby and Burton Trust and Chesterfield are among the first 50 hospitals to begin rolling out the Pfizer and BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine this week.
Patients aged 80 and above who are already attending hospital as an outpatient and those who are being discharged home after a hospital stay will be among the first to receive the vaccine, as well as care home workers and NHS workers who are considered to be of higher risk.
