A man has been arrested after concerns that a Matlock house had been ‘cuckooed’.

Cuckooing is when drug dealers target vulnerable people, using their homes as a base for drug dealing.

Officers visited a house in Netherfield Close on March 26, where they found a large amount of cash and more than 100 wraps of what they suspected to be drugs.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

He was questioned and released on bail.
