Police dog's bark helps catch Chesterfield crash driver hiding in bush

Police Dog Tally and his handler, from the Derbyshire Dog Section, were deployed after the collision on Monday, August 17.
Officers said a driver involved in the crash left the scene but was spotted by a witness.

Hide AdThe man was later seen emerging from his hiding place in a bush after shouts from the dog handler and PD Tally’s barks.
The unit tweeted: “Nights Chesterfield. RTC driver leaves the scene but is seen by a witness near a bridge.
"PD Tally deployed into area and handler shouts warning before searching.
"Male having heard dogs barking and the warning decides to give himself up and emerges from a bush.”
