Police seize car and issue tickets as problem parking at schools outside Chesterfield continues

On Tuesday, October 24, officers from the Wingerworth Safer Neighbourhood Team undertook parking patrols around Hunloke and Deerpark Primary Schools

An SNT spokesperson said: “Again, intervention has been required at both. Two vehicles at Hunloke Primary, parked opposite either a single solid or double solid white line, have both been issued with a ticket.

“At Deerpark Primary, we observed a vehicle on yellow zigzags. Officers engaged with the driver to offer advice, turns out there was no insurance on the vehicle.”

“Please, can I remind you again, park safely and courteously when collecting children from our schools. We are continuing to monitor the situation.”
