and live on Freeview channel 276
The Peak District National Park shared this photo of the unsightly waste found at Crowden last weekend.
“Our Countryside Maintenance and Projects Team (CMPT) collect up to 35 tonnes of litter each year on average - and while we're transferring it to waste centres and paying for disposal, it takes us away from other tasks looking after our National Park,” it said.

“If you spot any fly tipping please report it to your local council in the first instance.”
People were quick to share their disgust, with one woman branding it ‘disgraceful’ and someone saying the culprits should be forced to pick litter every weekend for a year in punishment.
They also shared photos of fly-tipping blighting other spots, including the woodlands at Hope.
