Fire crews attend petrol station fire in Derbyshire

Fire crews are attempting to tackle a petrol station fire in Walton.

Firefighters from stations in Chesterfield, Matlock and Clay Cross are all in attendance after being called out to the scene.

People are being asked to avoid the area and not to attempt to use the petrol station while the incident is being dealt with.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said that there were no injuries.

The fire was accidental with the fire investigation deeming the most probable cause as overheating electrics in a fridge freezer.
