Police called to four-car crash in Derbyshire town – with one person taken to hospital

A four-car pile-up in a Derbyshire town this afternoon left one person needing hospital treatment.

Derbyshire Police were called to reports of a collision between four vehicles in Pilsley Road, Danesmoor just before 1.10pm on Wednesday, March 8.

A black Suzuki Swift, a grey Volkswagen Golf, a white Vauxhall Astra and a second grey Volkswagen Golf were all involved in the incident.

A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said: “One person has suffered a minor injury and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
