Damp and windy during the evening, however rain, with snow on Derbyshire hills, should make for erratic progress northwards to leave a drier second half of the night.
It is expected to be cold, with icy patches possible, the Met Office forecasts. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
On Sunday it will be rather cold, but bright and breezy with sunny spells. There is a small chance of catching an isolated shower, however it should stay dry throughout for most. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
