Start home first for hosts in Bolsover 10k
A total of 832 runners finished, approximately 150 more than last January’s rescheduled 2017 edition of the race.
More than 30 of the club’s runners took part, with a sizeable team of marshals and volunteers also in attendance from among the club’s membership.

Hide AdThe comfortable winner of the race was last Sunday’s Bakewell Booth’s league cross country race winner Sam Moakes of Sutton Harriers.
His time of 32:25 left him with 37 seconds to spare over second place athlete Dale Annable of Heanor.
The host club’s Richard Start ran an impressive 33:32 to take third.
In the women’s race Michelle Willcocks (38:33) of Sutton Harriers finished almost a minute up on Chrissie Dover of Derby AC, with Bridget Coombe of Denby Dale a further 40 seconds back in third.

Hide AdThere were several other noteworthy runs from NDRC runners.
Mario Castelluccio, who ran a personal best, and Ian Monaghan both broke 40 minutes to finish second and third NDRC runners.
Sarah Witham finishedfirst NDRC lady home in 47:45, with Lynne Delaney (49:10) pipping Cindy Woodhead (49:14) by four seconds to finish second lady home from the host club.
